How long does carpet take to dry?

About one hour. Because we clean with minimal moisture rather than saturating the carpet, the backing and padding never get wet, so there is very little left to dry.

How does dry carpet cleaning work?

A cleaning solution is applied to the fibers and worked in with mechanical agitation. That releases soil, grit and oils from the pile, and the soil is then removed along with the small amount of moisture used.

Why does Edwin's carpet cleaning dry so quickly?

Because we never put a large volume of water into the carpet in the first place. Low moisture in means fast drying out, even in Florida humidity.

Can you remove pet stains?

In most cases yes. We locate the affected areas first and treat the source. Severe, repeated saturation into the pad may need more than cleaning, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Can you treat pet odors?

Yes. We use treatments that neutralize odor at the source rather than masking it with fragrance.

Do you clean couches and sofas?

Yes. Sofas, couches, loveseats, sectionals, recliners, dining chairs, ottomans, headboards and mattresses are all cleaned with the same low-moisture approach.

Do you clean sectionals?

Yes, including chaise sections and the panels most companies skip. Sectionals are priced by the number of seating sections.

Do you clean Persian rugs?

Yes, after inspecting fiber, construction and dye stability. We do not take on extremely fragile antique or museum-grade pieces — those belong with a specialist restorer.

Do you clean Oriental and wool rugs?

Yes. Wool is sensitive to high pH and heavy water, so a low-moisture method with wool-appropriate products is usually the safer choice.

Can you clean a Persian rug with pet stains?

Often yes, and sooner is much better — urine left in wool can permanently alter dyes over time. We test for colorfastness before treating.

Do you clean area rugs in the home?

Yes, most rugs are cleaned on site. That avoids transport risk and the weeks-long wait that comes with off-site plant cleaning.

Do you clean apartments and condos?

Yes. Our equipment works from inside the unit, with no hoses running through shared corridors and no risk of water reaching the unit below.
